Our goal is to provide safe, reliable, professional, and transparent private transportation throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. Before confirming a reservation, we ask every customer to review the following policies. These policies help ensure a smooth experience for both our customers and our company.
Submitting a ride request does not guarantee a reservation.
Reservations are confirmed only after:
Trip details have been reviewed
Availability has been confirmed
The quoted fare has been accepted
Any required payment authorization has been completed
A confirmation from 5 Star Ride Co., LLC constitutes acceptance of your reservation.
All pricing is quoted before your reservation is confirmed.
Additional charges may apply only when previously disclosed and may include:
Waiting time
Customer-requested trip changes
Parking fees
Tolls
Event access fees
Other agreed-upon trip expenses
No hidden fees.
No surge pricing.
More than 24 hours before pickup
• No cancellation fee.
6–24 hours before pickup
• Up to 20% of the scheduled fare.
Less than 6 hours before pickup
• Up to 50% of the scheduled fare.
Reservations confirmed less than six hours before pickup are generally non-refundable once accepted.
The first 5 minutes after your scheduled pickup time are complimentary.
Beginning at minute six:
$0.50 per minute
If the passenger has not arrived within 15 minutes, the reservation may be considered a no-show unless other arrangements have been made with the driver.
If the passenger fails to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled pickup time without making alternate arrangements, a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled fare may apply.
For everyone’s safety and comfort, passengers are expected to:
Wear seat belts.
Follow all applicable laws.
Treat the driver respectfully.
Respect the vehicle.
Refrain from smoking or vaping.
Refrain from illegal drug use.
Avoid conduct that creates an unsafe environment.
5 Star Ride Co., LLC reserves the right to refuse or terminate service when necessary to protect the safety of passengers, the driver, or the public.
Customers are responsible for damage or excessive cleaning caused by themselves or members of their party.
Charges may apply for:
Excessive food or drink spills
Vomit or bodily fluids
Excessive mud or debris
Strong odors requiring professional cleaning
Burns
Torn upholstery
Broken vehicle components
Other customer-caused damage
Whenever possible, charges are supported by photographs, invoices, repair estimates, or receipts.
Customer information is used only for providing transportation services, reservation management, payment processing, and customer communication.
Your personal information is never sold.
While every reasonable effort is made to provide timely, safe, and dependable transportation, travel times may be affected by traffic, weather, accidents, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
These Terms & Policies and all transportation services provided by 5 Star Ride Co., LLC are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.
By requesting, booking, or accepting transportation services from 5 Star Ride Co., LLC, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these Terms & Policies. Before your reservation is confirmed, you will also be asked to review and electronically sign our complete Ride Service Agreement & Terms of Service, which governs your reservation in full.
